Baby wiill you bring me an orange? The evil is building up in my head. You know how I get –– a little bothered, a little upset. Sure could use some sweetness instead. It’s starting to feel like just more toil and struggle. Why don’t you convince me otherwise. Be a doll and bring me an orange. One of the seedless kind. You know how I get I forget how to have a good time. Don’t you let me go on without that sweetness inside. My heart is heavy . My liver doesn’t speak to me no more. My mind is a self torture device. I try and remember we’re all the same but some people make themselves so hard to like. Jesus never had one. No no no. Neither did his mother. No no no. I feel bad but that doesn’t mean we have to suffer. Bring an orange baby; peel it, bring another. Your hands will do just fine To peel that orange baby And get to the sweetness inside.

Oranges 02:15
Nothing is ever as it seems Hamlin told me Parson Brown told me Outside is gold Inside is green Expecting sweet when it’s sour Mistaken easily You want an ooooooooooorange Uh-uh orange You want an ooooooooooorange You want reliability Then you must concentrate Concentrate on the concentrate Ladies apply d-limonene Make your lips redder Look sweeter Concentrate on mastery You want an ooooooooooorange Uh-uh orange You want an ooooooooooorange You can’t know what’s inside From outside from outside There’s one way to know what You want is what you want You can’t know what’s inside From outside from outside There’s one way to know what You want is what you want

Florida 03:07
Time to go-- Punch the clock and fold. You forced my hand a year or two ago. I am not naïve. Been to Phoenix, New Orleans. Gal of plenty, met a man of many means But I wish you hadn’t said what you said last night. I wish you hadn’t done what you did. Oh I wish you weren’t laid in a hospital bed. I’m so tired, I’m leaving for Florida FLO—RI-DA Florida. I’m leaving tomorrow for Florida. Citrus fruit. Fascist governors, empty suits. Gators and huge pythons running loose. Sunshine state. Cheap motels and real estate. Take me there; I can hardly wait For those mai tais and martinis, Deck chairs and bikinis. I’ll disappear just like Houdini, to Florida
